Overview
Mobility
The cinemizer OLED is designed for mobile use. The integrated rechargeable battery provides power for up to six hours of viewing enjoyment even when away from the confines of your home. For example, while on a flight, you can watch several movies from your smartphone like Android or iPhone on the cinemizer multimedia video glasses.
Diopter adjustment
Eyeglass wearers can configure their prescription from -5 to +2 diopters in each eye via the setting wheel.
Wearing comfort
Emphasis was given to a low weight and optimal wearing comfort during development of the cinemizer OLED. The soft silicon nose pad allows the glasses to sit comfortably on your nose. The two soft rubber ear clips guarantee a good, comfortable sit, allowing you to use the cinemizer OLED for hours at a time.
Connection possibilities
The cinemizer multimedia video glasses can be used for various applications. It can be connected to an iPod/iPhone, smartphone with HDMI or analog A/V interface, Blu-ray player, gaming consoles such as PS3 or XBox, PCs & and notebooks, etc. This is all made possible by an HDMI adapter, a video cable (yellow cinch) and the optional iPod/iPhone adapter.
Rich colors
OLED displays create crisp images with very vibrant colors, true black and thus very good contrast.
3D support
Various stereoscopic 3D formats are supported. These are side-by-side, top-bottom or line-interleaved such as Frame Packing via HDMI 1.4.

Accessories
Headtracker

The headtracker is an input device which records the head movements of the user, allowing natural and intuitive interaction. Different sensors detect changes in rotation in all three dimensions and transmit these to the computer. In combination with the cinemizer OLED multimedia glasses, this allows the user an immersive experience in virtual worlds by looking around freely.
The cinemizer Headtracker acts like a PC mouse, making it suitable for all games and professional applications that can be operated with a computer mouse. It can be used immediately without any adaptation or adjustment. The cinemizer Headtracker is one of the fastest tracking systems with the lowest latency time (delay in reaction time) on the market. The Headtracker is attached to the frame of the video glasses. No additional drivers are required for the use of the Headtracker, so it can run immediately on Windows, Apple and Linux operating systems.
With the software program "Tracker Configuration Tool" the headtracker speed can be adjusted independendly of the PC Mouse. Additionally there are taps to check for a new version of the headtracker firmware or of the Tracker Configuration Tool itself.
For professional applications and games, it is possible to access sensor data directly on the USB HID via an available SDK (for Windows).
The raw data from all three rotation axes can be read out via the SDK.
Eyeshield (shield from ambient light)

The Eyeshield is an optional accessory for the cinemizer OLED video glasses that blocks out the outside world for the user. This flexible component, made of soft rubber and plastic, can be attached to the multimedia glasses at the flick of a wrist and fully covers your eyes.
When you use the cinemizer OLED as an external viewfinder, for example, or to watch movies on the go, sunlight and other environmental interference factors are completely blocked out. The Eyeshield also fits the preceding cinemizer and cinemizer plus models.

All iPod and iPhone models with video capability and 30 pin connector are supported.
Likewise, the iPad models of the first, second and third generations work with the adapter kit, whereby the first-generation iPad exerts a constant mechanical pressure on the OLED adapter plug of the cinemizer and is thus not recommended for use.
Apple devices with Lightning sockets are mechanically incompatible with the cinemizer Apple Adapter Kit.Newer iPod, iPhone and iPad models mit Lightning sockets benefit from digital video transmission and can be connected to the cinemizer OLED with theiApple "Lightning Digital AV Adapter" via HDMI.
This achieves a much higher image quality. Moreover, the entire display content is digitally transmitted to the OLED multimedia glasses, facilitating mobile video as well as mobile gaming with breathtaking image quality.
